The workshop is being held at the BHU based at Lincoln University Campus.
Practical demonstration of hand tool usage for best weed management techniques and discussions about ‘which tool for which weed’ and ‘when is the best time to weed’. Some lesser known tools such as Motika and Niwashi will be demonstrated as part of the workshop.
This will be a very interesting and informative workshop and extremely helpful to all especially the home gardener.
The workshop is being presented by Gianni Prencipe who is the chairman of the Canterbury Organic and has a family organic farm and sells produce at local markets. Gianni is very knowledgeable in ‘all things’ organics and is a passionate presenter so you will definitely learn many interesting things!
Directions:- BHU is based at Lincoln University – Turn into Gate 2 Caulder Drive and travel down the drive past the Recreational Centre and then take the first right on to Farm Road and continue down past the cricket nets on your left until you come to a crossroads, go straight across past grapevines on your left and the BHU building and parking is on the right.
